Associate Professor Dr. Isa Naina Mohamed is an Associate Professor in the Medical Faculty, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), the National University of Malaysia. He graduated with distinction in Medicine from UKM in 2003 and completed his Masters in Clinical Pharmacology and doctoral studies in Medicine and Therapeutics at the University of Aberdeen in 2006 and 2011 respectively. Upon returned to Malaysia he would later establish and head the UKM Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety Unit and the UKM Drug Efficacy and Safety Research Group. Since 2012, Isa was awarded many awards, among which; Outstanding Service award, UKM Outstanding Educator award, UKM Most Promising Academician award and UKM Young Researcher award. Isa has published over 150 high impact research paper publications and lead many high impact researches. He is currently an active member of the Canselor TuankuMuhriz Hospital anti-microbial stewardship committee and is at the forefront of addiction medicine, wellness and pharmacotherapeutics.
